Audi A4 and S4 trim levels explained

The 2025 model year was the last for the Audi A4 in Audi's US lineup releases. It came as the A4 S line 45 TFSI ($44,100), A4 allroad ($47,600) and S4 ($54,900), each in Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige, before a $1,295 destination charge. Audi says the all-new 2025 A5 replaces the A4 sedan.

Previous A4 and S4 trim levels: A4 sedan and allroad, final model year (2025)

For 2025 the A4 lineup shrank to the 261-hp 45 TFSI sedan, the A4 allroad and the S4. Audi made MMI Navigation plus standard on Premium Plus and added an S line plus package. Audi's February 2025 A5 release says the new A5 lift-back replaces both the A5 Sportback and the A4 sedan, and Audi's 2026 lineup release lists no A4.[1][2][3]

Previous A4 and S4 trim levels: A4 sedan and allroad (2017–2024)

Audi launched this A4 as the all-new 2017 A4. By 2024 the sedan came as the 201-hp A4 40 TFSI or 261-hp A4 S line 45 TFSI, plus the allroad and S4. Prices below are 2024 model year; the 2022 A4 40 TFSI quattro started at $39,100.[4][5][6]
