Escalade IQ range and charging

Cadillac estimates 465 miles on a full charge for the 2026 Escalade IQ and 460 miles for the IQL. It calls the IQ the longest-range EV SUV on sale. The 205 kWh pack uses an 800-volt architecture, and at a 350 kW DC fast charger Cadillac says it adds up to 117 miles (IQ) or 116 miles (IQL) in about 10 minutes.

At home, Luxury and Sport models have an 11.5 kW onboard charger (up to 22 miles per hour of charging) and Premium trims a 19.2 kW charger (up to 36 miles per hour). The 2026 model has a CCS1 port; Tesla Superchargers need a GM-approved NACS adapter. Vehicle-to-home backup power works with GM Energy's PowerShift charger and V2H kit.

The IQL costs $3,000 more than the matching IQ trim for 2026 and gives up 5 miles of estimated range. Both have a 12.2 cu ft front trunk (eTrunk).

Power, steering and suspension

Output is a Cadillac-estimated 680 hp normally and 750 hp with 785 lb-ft when the driver selects Velocity Max, which Cadillac says gets the IQ from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. Standard four-wheel steer cuts the turning diameter to 39.4 feet at low speeds, and Cadillac Arrival Mode lets the truck move diagonally at parking speeds.

Air Ride Adaptive Suspension with Magnetic Ride Control is standard on 2026 models. The battery pack is part of the body structure.[4][1][2][5]

Interior and technology

The cabin is built around the 55-inch pillar-to-pillar Horizon Display, which merges the driver cluster and infotainment. The IQ uses Google built-in and does not offer Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The available Executive Second Row package adds reclining seats with tray tables, 12.6-inch screens, a rear command center and a 42-speaker AKG system.

Super Cruise comes standard with a three-year plan. Premium trims add power open-and-close doors, massaging front seats, Night Vision and the 38-speaker AKG Studio Reference system.[1][5]
