- The 6.7L High Output Power Stroke diesel earns the top 22,000-lb conventional and 23,000-lb gooseneck ratings for 2027; the 7.3L gas V8 tops out at 18,200 lbs conventional.
- The F-250 hitch receiver is rated 22,000 lbs (18,200 lbs for Tremor), and Tremor models are limited to 18,200 lbs conventional.
- Ford's rated maximums assume 10% tongue weight (15% king-pin weight for 5th-wheel/gooseneck) and must stay within GCWR, GVWR and rear GAWR.
