Integra Type S: what makes it different
The Integra Type S uses the turbocharged 2.0L K20C1 rated 320 hp and 310 lb-ft, 120 hp and 118 lb-ft more than the regular Integra. It comes only with a six-speed manual with rev-matching, and a limited-slip differential and dual-axis front suspension help put the power down through the front wheels.
The body is substantially wider, with flared fenders, a vented hood and triple center-mounted exhaust outlets. Brembo four-piston front calipers, an adaptive damper system and 19-inch wheels on 265/30 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires are standard.
2026 Integra trims and the manual option
The regular Integra comes as a base model ($33,400), A-Spec ($35,950) and A-Spec with Technology Package ($39,200). Only the A-Spec with Technology Package offers the six-speed manual, at the same price as the CVT.
The 2026 refresh added a standard 9-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus an aero body kit and black 18-inch wheels for A-Spec models. Acura says the Integra will receive further enhancements for 2027.[1][5][10]
The original Acura Integra (1986–2001)
Three generations of Integra were sold before the RSX name took over in 2002. The 1986 car was Acura's first model; the 1990 second generation added double-wishbone suspension and, from 1992, the 160-hp GS-R with VTEC.
The third generation brought the 1997 Integra Type R, with a hand-built 195-hp 1.8L, a helical limited-slip differential and seam-welded body sections. Acura notes a 2000 Integra Type R sold at auction in 2022 for $112,112, more than 4.6 times its original $24,350 MSRP.[6]
