About Python Green

Frequently asked questions
Which Porsche models and years came in Python Green?
Our sources list Python Green on the 911 (992) Carrera T (2023, special (extra-cost) color) and 911 (992) GT3 RS Carrera RS Tribute Edition (2023, limited edition only). If you see it on a model or year not listed, it may be a Paint to Sample order or a respray — the build sheet for the VIN shows which.
Is Python Green a Paint to Sample color?
Our sources list Python Green as a special (extra-cost) color and limited edition only rather than Paint to Sample. Porsche's Paint to Sample program can still apply many past colors to new cars, so a recent car in Python Green may be a PTS order.
Python Green vs Lizard Green: what's the difference?
Both are bright solid greens from Porsche's modern palette. Lizard Green is the yellower, almost neon shade tied to the GT cars and used for interior accents on the 2023 Carrera T. Python Green is a deeper, more saturated grass green offered as a special color on the 992.
How can I tell if a Porsche is factory Python Green?
Read the paint code on the option sticker (in the maintenance booklet and, on most models, in the front luggage compartment) or on a build sheet for the VIN, and compare it with the codes above. A matching color name alone does not rule out a respray or wrap.
