Single Motor vs Twin Motor Performance

The Single Motor is the efficiency choice: EPA rates the 2026 model at 116 MPGe combined and 261 miles. The Twin Motor Performance adds a front motor for all-wheel drive and 422 hp, trading some range (253 miles, 109 MPGe).

Volvo first announced a $34,950 Single Motor Extended Range Core in October 2023, but prioritized the Twin Motor Performance when US deliveries began in late 2024. The Single Motor reached the US for 2026 in Plus form at $38,950.[3][4][6][7][1]

EX30 Cross Country

The EX30 Cross Country adds higher ground clearance, standard all-wheel drive, skid plates and wheel-arch extensions, with available 18-inch all-terrain accessory tires. It is sold only as a Twin Motor Ultra at $48,150. EPA rates it at 227 miles on 19-inch wheels and 203 miles on 18-inch wheels.[1][5]

Core, Plus and Ultra on the EX30

Volvo's announced EX30 equipment levels are Core, Plus and Ultra. Plus adds Harman Kardon audio, a dual-tone panoramic roof and 19-inch wheels; Ultra adds Pilot Assist with Lane Change Assistance, a 360 camera with 3D view and Park Pilot Assist. Google built-in and wireless Apple CarPlay are standard.[6]
