RDX trims: Base, Technology, A-Spec and Advance
For 2026 the RDX comes as a base model plus Technology, A-Spec, Advance and A-Spec with Advance packages. All share the 272-hp turbo four and SH-AWD; the differences are equipment, wheels and styling.
A-Spec adds a sportier look and 20-inch wheels; the Advance Package is the comfort-and-tech flagship. The A-Spec with Advance Package tops the range at $54,850.
Acura RDX hybrid: what Acura has announced
There is no hybrid RDX on sale. In January 2026 Acura confirmed that the fourth-generation RDX will use a two-motor hybrid-electric system, a first for the brand, and in October 2026 it said that model comes to market in 2028.
Acura also said production of the 2026 RDX would be suspended later in 2026 in anticipation of the hybrid. The RDX is built at the East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio alongside the MDX, and Acura puts cumulative North American RDX sales at around 850,000.[5][12]
Standard SH-AWD
Every 2026 RDX has Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, which can send up to 70% of torque to the rear axle and all of that to one rear wheel. The 2019 RDX debuted the fourth-generation mechanical system, which Acura says has 40% more rear-axle torque capacity and 30% quicker left-right transfer than before.[6][1]

Front-wheel drive was offered at first (the 2022 RDX started at $39,300 with FWD); from 2024 Acura priced only SH-AWD models. The 2025 refresh added a frameless grille and a redesigned console. Acura said in January 2026 that 2026 RDX production would be suspended later in the year ahead of the hybrid.[5][6][7][8][9][10] |
| 2nd generation | 2013–2018 | 3.5L V6 (273 hp); 6-speed automatic | Built exclusively in the U.S., the second RDX swapped the turbo four for a V6 and was offered with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.[11][5] |
