Arctic Grey paint code

The code is printed on the car's option sticker and on a VIN build sheet. Porsche has reused some names with new codes as paint formulas changed, so the code is the reliable identifier.

Frequently asked questions

What is the paint code for Porsche Arctic Grey?

Arctic Grey has carried Porsche paint code M7K (Listed for 718, 911 and Cayenne from model year 2023). Porsche reuses names across eras with different codes, so match the code on the car's option sticker or build sheet rather than the name alone.

Which Porsche models and years came in Arctic Grey?

Our sources list Arctic Grey on the Cayenne Turbo GT (E3 Coupé) (2022–, special (extra-cost) color), 718 Cayman GT4 RS (2022–2025, special (extra-cost) color), 911 (992) (2022–, special (extra-cost) color), 718 Boxster / Cayman (2023–2025, special (extra-cost) color) and Cayenne (E3 facelift) (2024–, special (extra-cost) color). If you see it on a model or year not listed, it may be a Paint to Sample order or a respray — the build sheet for the VIN shows which.

Is Arctic Grey a Paint to Sample color?

Our sources list Arctic Grey as a special (extra-cost) color rather than Paint to Sample. Porsche's Paint to Sample program can still apply many past colors to new cars, so a recent car in Arctic Grey may be a PTS order.

Arctic Grey vs Crayon: what's the difference?

Arctic Grey (M7K) and Crayon (M9A) are both flat light greys. Crayon is the paler of the two and leans toward off-white. Arctic Grey has more grey depth and a cool, slightly blue undertone. Arctic Grey started on GT-badged cars (Cayenne Turbo GT, Cayman GT4 RS) before reaching the wider range.

How common is Arctic Grey?

In US new-car inventory on October 22, 2026, 120 of 2,015 new 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe listings (6%) were listed in Arctic Grey; it also appeared on Cayenne (5.4%). Shares come from dealer-listed color names, which are not always exact.

How can I tell if a Porsche is factory Arctic Grey?

Read the paint code on the option sticker (in the maintenance booklet and, on most models, in the front luggage compartment) or on a build sheet for the VIN, and compare it with M7K. A matching color name alone does not rule out a respray or wrap.
