Chevrolet Colorado: Invoice Price vs. MSRP vs. What Buyers Pay

The dealer invoice price is what the dealership pays the manufacturer — typically 5–8% below MSRP. But the real number that matters is the transaction price: what buyers actually pay after negotiation. Verified Chevrolet Colorado buyers are currently paying 5.5% off MSRP on average, which often lands between invoice and sticker price.

Dealer holdback, volume bonuses, and manufacturer incentives mean the true cost to the dealer is lower than invoice. Focus on the transaction price — not invoice — as your negotiation target. Learn more about car invoice pricing.
