2027 Genesis GV70 price and trims

For 2027 the 3.5T Sport Advanced is dropped and the 3.5T Prestige Graphite is added. The 2.5T Sport Prestige gains a head-up display and Highway Driving Assist 2, and a wireless phone charger is standard on every trim.[14][15][16]

Genesis GV70 engines, horsepower and mpg

Electrified GV70 figures are MPGe. EPA rates its range at 250 miles, and a 10-second Boost Mode raises output to about 483 hp. The gas engines are rated on premium fuel with a 17.43-gallon tank.

Electrified GV70: the electric GV70

The Electrified GV70 shares its body and 113.2-inch wheelbase with the gas GV70, but it uses a 160 kW motor on each axle for 320 kW (about 429 hp) and 516 lb-ft. Genesis's 2027 specifications list an 84 kWh battery and a range of up to 250 miles, which matches the EPA rating.

For 2027 the heated steering wheel is standard on every trim, and Bang & Olufsen audio and road noise cancellation are offered on the Advanced as well as the Prestige. The panoramic sunroof is no longer standard on the base trim.

The GV70's documented problems are safety recalls. Gas models were recalled for fuel pump failures (2022–2023), a fuel pipe-to-rail leak (2022–2026) and, on 2024 models, a water-damaged transmission harness that can shift the SUV out of Park (24V205). The Electrified GV70 shares the charging-unit (ICCU) recall 24V868. All repairs are free.
