Kia Seltos trim levels explained

The 2027 Kia Seltos comes in five trims: LX ($24,990), S ($26,390), EX ($28,390), X-Line S ($28,990) and X-Line SX ($32,790), before destination. Most use a 147-hp 2.0L with an IVT and optional AWD; the X-Line SX has a 190-hp 1.6L turbo, 8-speed automatic and standard AWD.
Current Seltos trim levels: Seltos (2027 model year)
For 2027 the Seltos returns with front-wheel drive on its 2.0L trims (EPA lists only AWD versions for 2026). X-Line trims are AWD only; the X-Line SX adds the turbo engine and Multi-Terrain Mode.[1][2][3]

EPA listings for 2021–2026 show a 2.0L four with a CVT-type automatic and a 1.6L turbo four, which used a 7-speed dual-clutch through 2023 and an 8-speed automatic from 2024.[4][5][2]
