What is a GM RPO Code?
RPO stands for Regular Production Option — General Motors' system of three-character alphanumeric codes (like Z51) that document every factory-installed option, package, color, and equipment choice on a Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, Buick, or Corvette. GM prints them on a build label (the SPID, or Service Parts Identification label) and, on classic Corvettes, on the original build sheet tucked above the fuel tank — the famous "tank sticker."
