Volvo S60 trim levels explained

The last US Volvo S60 price list (2024) offered Core, Plus and Ultimate levels in the Dark theme, plus Black Edition, with B5 FWD, B5 AWD or T8 plug-in hybrid power. Prices ran from $42,000 for a B5 FWD Core to $58,550 for a T8 Ultimate Black Edition, excluding destination. 2019–2022 cars use Momentum, R-Design and Inscription.

Current S60 trim levels: S60, third generation (2024 model year)

The 2024 model is the last S60 on a Volvo US price list we found; the January 2025 list does not include it, though EPA lists 2025 S60 models. All 2024 trims were listed in the Dark theme.[1][2][3]

The US-built third-generation S60 launched in Momentum, R-Design and Inscription with T5 FWD, T6 AWD and T8 plug-in hybrid powertrains; destination was $995.[4][5]

Previous S60 trim levels: S60, second generation (2016 model year)

For 2016 Volvo added the S60 Inscription (2.9 inches more rear legroom) and the raised S60 Cross Country to the second-generation lineup.[6]
