Honda Prologue problems and known issues

By CarWhere Research · Updated

NHTSA's Honda recall records list three Prologue campaigns: a 2024–2025 rearview camera replacement (26V306) whose remedy Honda expected in late 2026, a 2024 instrument panel and camera software update (26V112), and a 39-vehicle 2024 front control arm recall (24V540). The 2025 Prologue appears only in the camera recall.

CarWhere lists 3 documented Prologue issues, including 3 NHTSA safety recalls, each with affected years, powertrains, symptoms, pre-purchase checks and a source. Recall entries come from NHTSA's recall dataset on the DOT open-data portal, which may not list every campaign, so run the specific VIN through NHTSA's recall lookup.
