2026 Prologue pricing: how it compares with 2025

When the 2026 Prologue reached dealers in December 2025, Honda said its $47,400 starting price was unchanged from 2025. Honda's September 2026 price sheet lists the EX single motor at $39,900, the EX AWD at $42,000, the Touring at $44,200 (2WD) or $47,000 (AWD) and the Elite at $50,400, all before the $1,595 destination charge.

Against Honda's 2025 list prices, that is $7,500 less for the EX 2WD, Touring 2WD and Elite, $8,400 less for the EX AWD and $7,700 less for the Touring AWD. When shopping, work from a target discount off the current MSRP in dollars and percent, before rebates and with no dealer add-ons.[9][1][7]

Prologue EX vs Touring vs Elite

Every Prologue has an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Google built-in and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The EX has a 6-speaker stereo; Touring and Elite add a 12-speaker Bose system, a panoramic moonroof and a power tailgate. Only the Elite gets a head-up display, a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats, and it is AWD only.

Cargo space is 25.2 cu ft behind the rear seat and 57.7 cu ft folded in the EX, and 23.7 / 54.5 cu ft in Touring and Elite. Curb weight runs from 4,932 lbs (EX 2WD) to 5,273 lbs (Elite).[2]

What changed: 2024 vs 2025 vs 2026 Prologue

2024: The Prologue launched with single-motor 2WD and dual-motor AWD versions; EPA rated range at 296 miles (2WD), 281 miles (AWD Touring) and 273 miles (Elite).

2025: An upgraded front power unit raised output to 220 hp and 243 lb-ft (single motor) and 300 hp and 355 lb-ft (dual motor), and range rose to 308, 294 and 283 miles. Honda kept pricing unchanged at $47,400 to $57,900 before a $1,450 destination charge.

2026: The portable charging kit became standard and the home-charging installation credit rose to $1,250 (or a $500 sales credit without home charging). Specs and range carried over; destination is now $1,595.[7][9][1][8]

Prologue recalls

NHTSA's recall data through October 2026 lists three Prologue recalls. A small 2024 campaign covered 39 vehicles whose right front lower control arm could fracture. A 2026 software recall covers 2024 Prologues (and Acura ZDX) whose instrument panel or rearview camera display could go blank, fixed by a radio control module update. A separate 2026 recall covers 2024–2025 Prologues whose rearview camera could show a distorted or blank image; dealers will replace the camera once parts are available.[10][11][12]
