Picking a Range Rover Sport engine
The mild-hybrid sixes are the efficiency choice: EPA rates both the P360 and P400 at 22 mpg combined. The P530 V8 adds 128 hp over the P400 for a 19 mpg combined rating, and the SV runs a 626-hp version of the same 4.4L V8 with 6D Dynamics suspension.
The plug-in hybrids pair the six with an electric motor for up to 51 miles of expected real-world electric driving, according to Land Rover.
Range Rover Sport performance milestones

The 626-hp SV took over as the performance flagship in 2023, and Land Rover marked 20 years of the Sport with the TWENTY Edition in April 2026.[11]
