Land Rover Defender trim levels explained
By CarWhere Research · Updated
The 2027 Defender comes as the 90, 110 and 130 in S, X-Dynamic SE, X and new Vertex trims, plus Trophy Edition, Outbound and the V8 OCTA. Prices run from $61,000 (90 S) to $169,200 (OCTA Black), before the $1,950 destination charge. Every non-OCTA model now uses a 3.0-liter six-cylinder.
Current Defender trim levels: Current generation (2027 model year)
The current Defender reached U.S. retailers as a 2020 model (the 110 from $49,900 at launch). For 2027, Land Rover added the Vertex trim and replaced the 2.0-liter four-cylinder P300 with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder P300, so every 90, 110 and 130 now has a six; the OCTA keeps its twin-turbo V8.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

The OCTA starts at $158,800 and the OCTA Black at $169,200, both before the $1,950 destination charge.
