LX 570 vs LX 600
The 2022 redesign replaced the LX 570's V8 with a twin-turbo V6 and a new platform.[6][3][5][1]
| LX 570 (2008–2021) | LX 600 (2022–present) | |
|---|---|---|
| Engine | 5.7L V8 | 3.4L twin-turbo V6 |
| Output | 383 hp, 403 lb-ft | 409 hp, 479 lb-ft |
| Transmission (final year / current) | 8-speed automatic (EPA, 2021) | 10-speed automatic |
- The LX 600 makes 26 more horsepower and 76 more lb-ft than the last LX 570 despite having two fewer cylinders.
- If you want a hybrid, you need the LX 700h, available from the 2025 model year.
LX 600 vs LX 700h
Both share the 3.4L twin-turbo V6 and 10-speed automatic. The LX 700h adds a hybrid motor and nickel-metal hydride battery, bringing output to 457 hp and 583 lb-ft versus 409 hp and 479 lb-ft. EPA rates it at 20 mpg combined against 19 for the LX 600. Both tow up to 8,000 pounds.
For 2027, Overtrail and Ultra Luxury are LX 700h-only grades in Lexus's pricing chart. The LX 700h has a waterproof battery tray, 27.5 inches of fording capability and motor-only driving in low range. Lexus also notes it's the first Lexus hybrid with a conventional alternator and starter, so the engine can still run if the hybrid system is inoperative.[1][2]
What changed for the 2027 LX
The Premium grade gets darker 20-inch wheels and a standard digital rearview mirror. F SPORT Handling adds standard red brake calipers and a Palomino interior option, and one-touch power-folding rear seats are now standard on F SPORT Handling and Overtrail. The base price rose $1,000 to $109,050 including DPH.[1][4]
