ZR1X vs ZR1: what's different
Both cars use the same hand-built twin-turbo LT7 V8 and 8-speed dual-clutch. The ZR1X adds a front electric drive unit and battery, which makes it all-wheel drive and adds 186 hp, and it gets the J59 carbon-ceramic brake package as standard (an option on the ZR1).
Chevrolet quotes the same 233-mph track top speed for both. The ZR1X is quicker off the line and about 200 pounds heavier as a coupe.

Performance claims
Chevrolet's published figures for the ZR1X with the ZTK Performance Package are 1.89 seconds to 60 mph and an 8.99-second quarter mile at 157 mph on an unprepped surface. On a prepped drag strip, GM says a ZR1X on standard Michelin PS4S tires ran 8.675 seconds at 159 mph with a 1.68-second 0–60 time.
The optional Carbon Fiber Aero Package, standard with ZTK, makes more than 1,200 lb of downforce at top speed, per Chevrolet.[1][4][6]
Hybrid features and fuel economy
The battery charges from regeneration and the front motor, so it never needs plugging in. Stealth Mode drives on electric power alone for 4–5 miles at up to 45 mph. On track, drivers can choose Endurance, Qualifying or Push-to-Pass strategies for the electric boost.
The EPA rates the ZR1X at 12 mpg city, 19 highway and 14 combined on premium fuel for both 2026 and 2027.

What to check before buying a used Corvette ZR1X
- Run the VIN for open recalls and confirm 26V213000 (turn-signal software) is complete on a 2026 car.
- Also check whether the VIN falls under 25V536000, the 2023–2026 refueling fuel-spill campaign.
- Confirm 1LZ or 3LZ: the 3LZ adds the 14-speaker Bose system, heated and ventilated GT2 or Competition Sport seats and suede upper trim.
- Confirm whether the car has the ZTK Performance Package and Carbon Fiber Aero Package; Chevrolet's 1.89-second 0–60 claim requires ZTK.
- Start in Stealth Mode and confirm the car moves on electric power before the V8 fires.
- Inspect the carbon-ceramic rotors and Alcon calipers for track wear.
- For a Quail Silver Limited Edition, check the numbered Limited Edition plaque on the waterfall speaker and the Blade Silver Matte paint.
