Buying a used Passport

A 2019–2025 Passport has the 280-hp V6 and nine-speed automatic. EPA lists FWD versions through 2022 and AWD only from 2023. The 2026-and-later Passport has the 285-hp DOHC V6, 10-speed and standard AWD.

For 2019–2023 Passports from salt-belt states, check whether rear subframe recall 26V365 is open. On 2026 models, confirm recall 26V424 (rear subframe bolt torque) has been completed. Run any VIN on NHTSA's recall lookup before you buy.[6][7][3][9][10]
