How Lucid sells: direct, through Studios and online

Lucid says in its fiscal 2025 10-K that it sells vehicles directly to consumers through its own retail network and online channels, including Lucid Financial Services. It reported 45 Studios and service centers in North America at the end of 2025, and it runs a direct sales and service model in the US, Canada and Saudi Arabia. Outside those markets it is adding importer, dealer and agent partners.

For US buyers, that means Lucid sets the price, and there is no franchised dealer between you and the factory on a new car. Lucid lists its prices before tax, title, license, destination and documentation fees. It also owns its service network and runs mobile service vans, and it sends over-the-air software updates.[1][2]

Charging: 900V+ architecture and NACS

Lucid says the Air and Gravity use a high-voltage architecture capable of 900V+, along with its in-house Wunderbox inverter and charger. Lucid's charging guide says the Air can accept up to 300 kW of DC fast charging and the Gravity up to 400 kW. Its 10-K says the Air Grand Touring can add up to 200 miles in about 12 minutes and the Gravity Grand Touring in about 11.

The Gravity has a native NACS (SAE J3400) charge port and gained Tesla Supercharger access in Q1 2025. Lucid says it can charge at 220+ kW on 400V V3 Superchargers by using its rear drive unit as a boost converter. The Air keeps a J1772/CCS1 port. From July 31, 2025, every Air can use V3-and-newer Superchargers through Lucid's $220 NACS-to-CCS1 adapter, at up to 50 kW.[1][20][21][13]
