|---|---|---|
| F8 Tributo | 2019–2023 | Revealed February 28, 2019, ahead of a Geneva debut on March 5, 2019, replacing the 488 GTB; Ferrari said it reached the end of its lifecycle in Q1 2023.[1][5] |

Engine
Ferrari called the F8 Tributo’s V8 its most powerful for a non-special-series car, with a specific output of 185 cv per liter. The engine had been named “Best Engine of the Year” in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Output is 50 cv higher than the 488 GTB and dry weight is 40 kg lower.[1]
Aerodynamics and design
The S-Duct at the nose, adapted from the 488 Pista, provides 15% of the downforce increase over the 488 GTB, and Ferrari cites a 10% gain in aerodynamic efficiency. A Lexan engine cover references the F40, and twin tail-lights recall the 308 GTB. The car also introduced Side Slip Angle Control 6.1 and FDE+ usable in RACE mode.[1]
What to check before buying a used F8 Tributo
For a used F8 Tributo or F8 Spider, check two NHTSA recalls with a Ferrari dealer: 22V536000 for a brake fluid reservoir cap that may not vent, and, on 2023 F8 Spiders, 24V810000 for driveshaft screws that may not have been tightened. Ferrari’s seven-year maintenance program should appear in the service history too.
Brake reservoir cap recall 22V536000
Covers 2020–2022 F8 Tributo and F8 Spider: the cap may not vent, risking a brake fluid leak. Dealers replace it and update the low-fluid warning software.[6]
Driveshaft screw recall 24V810000 (F8 Spider)
Covers certain 2023 F8 Spider: driveshaft screws may loosen. Dealers verify and tighten them free of charge (Ferrari RC 88).[6]
Seven-year maintenance record
Ferrari’s 7 Year Maintenance Program, free on new cars since 2011, covers regular servicing every 20,000 km or once a year.[7][8]
Warranty extension
The Power warranty program can extend coverage up to the 15th year for cars in perfect maintenance condition.[7]
