Frequently asked questions
What models does Mitsubishi sell in the US?
CarWhere covers 4 current Mitsubishi models: Outlander, Outlander PHEV, Outlander Sport and Eclipse Cross. Each model guide lists the current price range, powertrains and generations with Mitsubishi and EPA sources.
What is the cheapest new Mitsubishi?
Of the models covered here, the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has the lowest published starting price: $23,995 MSRP for the 2027 model year (mitsubishicars.com starting MSRP for the 2027 Outlander Sport 2.0 S, before destination. The site lists the 2.0 ES from $25,395, the 2.0 ES AWC from $26,895 and the Trail Edition from $29,795; we did not find a published price for the 2.4 SEL).
Is the Mirage still sold new?
No. Mitsubishi says US production of the Mirage and Mirage G4 has ended, with no 2025 models planned. The Mirage guide covers the 2014–2024 cars, their 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine and the recalls on record.
How do I check a Mitsubishi for recalls?
Enter the 17-character VIN on NHTSA’s recall lookup or ask a Mitsubishi dealer to run it. Recall repairs are free. CarWhere’s known-issues pages list recall campaign numbers by model and generation.
How do I find out what options my Mitsubishi has?
Start with the paperwork that came with the car. If it is lost, a build sheet reconstructed from the VIN shows factory colors, options and packages where detailed build data exists, and the free VIN decoder shows basics such as engine, body and plant.
