Porsche Trim Levels Explained

By CarWhere Research · Updated

Porsche trims follow a common ladder: the base car, then T, S, GTS and Turbo or Turbo S, with 4 marking all-wheel drive and GT or RS for motorsport-developed models. Each model line uses its own subset. Below are the current trims for the 911, 718 Cayman, 718 Boxster, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera and Taycan, with launch prices.

Before you buy a used Porsche, check that exact car

Badges can be swapped and Porsche options are chosen car by car. The build sheet decodes the VIN into the factory trim, colors and recorded options — and original MSRP when the build data includes it. Free availability check first; $9.99 only if detailed build data exists.
