Frequently asked questions
Is the Toyota Camry hybrid only?
Yes. Since the 2025 redesign every Camry is a hybrid, pairing a 2.5L four-cylinder with the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System. There is no gas-only four-cylinder or V6 Camry for 2025–2027.
What are the 2027 Camry trim levels?
LE, SE, Nightshade, XLE and XSE. Toyota.com lists them at $29,700, $32,200, $33,200, $34,900 and $36,100 respectively, before Dealer Processing and Handling.
Does the Camry come with all-wheel drive?
Yes. Electronic On-Demand AWD, which adds a rear electric motor, is available on all five 2027 grades and raises output from 225 hp to 232 net combined hp.
What is the difference between the Camry XLE and XSE?
Both get heated 8-way power seats and a 12.3-inch digital cluster. The XLE is comfort-oriented with leather and Dinamica trim and 18-inch wheels; the XSE adds sport suspension, 19-inch wheels, leather seats and sport styling for $1,200 more.
When did the Camry lose its V6?
The 301-hp 3.5L V6 was offered through the eighth-generation Camry (2018–2024), including the TRD from $33,485 for 2024. The 2025 redesign made Camry hybrid-only.
