Lincoln models, prices and problems

By CarWhere Research · Updated

CarWhere’s Lincoln hub collects free research for Lincoln shoppers and owners: 7 model guides from the Navigator and Aviator to the Nautilus and Corsair, used-buyer guides for the Continental, MKZ and Town Car, 38 trim levels with dated Lincoln MSRPs, 60 known issues and NHTSA recalls, plus VIN tools. Every page lists its sources.

Lincoln builds its SUVs on Ford platforms with Ford engines, so many mechanical facts and recalls carry over from the Explorer, Expedition, Escape and Edge. These pages explain what is Lincoln-specific — trims, equipment, prices and the issues NHTSA has documented — and what to check on a specific vehicle before you buy it.

How do I find out what options my Lincoln has?

Start with the paperwork that came with the car. If it is lost, a build sheet reconstructed from the VIN shows factory colors, options and packages where detailed build data exists, and the free VIN decoder shows basics such as engine, body and plant.
