The AMG ONE hypercar

Above the catalog sits the Mercedes-AMG ONE, a road car built around a Formula 1-derived 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain with 782 kW (1,063 hp) of system output, per Mercedes-AMG. Production is limited to 275 cars and it is not on the US price list, so there is no current MSRP to quote. Its performance numbers are in fastest Mercedes models.

Most expensive Mercedes ever sold at auction

As of this update, Mercedes-Benz holds the top two spots for the most expensive cars ever sold at auction, both 1950s racing cars sold by RM Sotheby's at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé is a closed coupé derived from the 300 SLR racing car; the 300 SL road car is its better-known relative.

What buyers see on dealer lots

Starting MSRP is the floor. In CarWhere's live-listing data (as of 2026-10-25), the median asking price of a new Mercedes-Benz G-Class reflects how the cars on dealer lots are actually equipped.

On a six-figure Mercedes, the options are the price

Two G 63s or S-Classes with the same badge can differ by tens of thousands of dollars in factory options — interior and Manufaktur choices, AMG performance packages, driver-assistance and rear-seat equipment. The factory Mercedes-Benz data card lists them by option code, and Mercedes options that add resale value covers which ones the used market rewards.
