What to check before buying a used Centenario
Before buying a Centenario, confirm that NHTSA campaign 18V244000 was completed on that VIN. It covered 2017 Centenario Coupes and Roadsters whose certification label may have listed an incorrect weight limit, and dealers installed a corrected label free of charge. With only 40 built, also confirm body style and documentation.
Corrected certification label (18V244000)
Check that the corrected weight-limit certification label from the recall campaign is fitted.[4]
Confirm coupe or roadster identity
Lamborghini built 20 coupes and 20 roadsters; paperwork should match the body style.[1][2]
Run a VIN recall lookup
A VIN lookup confirms no other campaign is open on the car.[4]
