What changed in the 976
The third-generation Panamera is a sedan only in the US; the Sport Turismo body was dropped. Two-chamber air suspension is standard, Porsche Active Ride is optional on E-Hybrids, and the cabin has a steering-column gear selector and an optional passenger display. Every hybrid uses a 25.9 kWh battery with a motor integrated into the PDK, and the Turbo name now appears only on plug-in hybrids.

What changed in the 970
The Panamera was Porsche's first four-door, four-seat sedan, sold in the US from the 2010 model year with front-mounted V8s and a 7-speed PDK.
