Kia window stickers: no public OEM source
No public OEM Monroney source is currently available through CarWhere for this make. The Full VIN Report still includes the VIN decode, factory build specs, NHTSA recall scan, and PDF delivery — but not an official original window sticker.
What you can learn from a Kia VIN
- The full factory build of any Kia — year, trim, engine, drivetrain, body style, and assembly plant — decoded from the VIN via the federal vPIC database.
- Open NHTSA recalls for the exact model year, including severity flags.
- A downloadable PDF you can keep with the listing or share with a co-buyer or mechanic.
Common lookups: Telluride, Sportage, Sorento, EV6.
What a Kia VIN reveals
A Kia VIN is a 17-character code: characters 1-3 (World Manufacturer Identifier) reveal where it was built, 4-8 describe the model, body, engine and restraints, 9 is a check digit, 10 the model year, 11 the plant, and 12-17 the serial number. WMIs starting with 5XY or 5XX denote U.S.-built Kias from Kia Georgia in West Point, while KNA and KND denote vehicles assembled by Kia in South Korea. So the first three characters alone tell a U.S. buyer whether their Kia is domestic or imported.
Popular Kia models
Telluride
Three-row midsize SUV built exclusively at Kia Georgia in West Point, Georgia — a U.S.-assembled Kia carrying a 5XY-series VIN.
Sportage
Compact SUV; gas models are assembled at Kia Georgia in West Point. Confirm the VIN's WMI, since some Sportage variants are Korea-built.
Sorento
Midsize SUV built either at Kia Georgia (5XY VIN) or in South Korea (KND VIN); the WMI tells you which applies to your vehicle.
EV6
All-electric crossover; U.S. production began at Kia Georgia in 2025, though earlier model years were South Korea-built — check the WMI.
Checking Kia recalls
Check recalls free by 17-digit VIN at owners.kia.com (Kia’s official portal) and at nhtsa.gov/recalls. Both accept a full VIN; open safety recalls are repaired at no cost regardless of warranty status or ownership.
Where to find the VIN on a Kia
On a Kia, the VIN is visible through the windshield on the driver's-side lower corner of the dashboard, and on the driver's-side door-jamb label and the vehicle registration.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the report include the original Kia window sticker?
No public OEM Monroney source is currently available through CarWhere for this make. The Full VIN Report still includes the VIN decode, factory build specs, NHTSA recall scan, and PDF delivery — but not an official original window sticker.
How much does a Kia VIN report cost?
The CarWhere Full VIN Report is $9.99 one-time per VIN. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no account requirement — payment is processed by Stripe and the report arrives as a permanent link with a downloadable PDF.
Can I see what the report includes before paying?
Yes. The availability check above decodes the VIN and shows the factory build and specs for that exact vehicle before any payment. What you see in the preview is what the report delivers.
Is this a vehicle history report?
The CarWhere Full VIN Report is not a traditional vehicle history report. It does not include accident history, title brands, odometer history, owner count, or service records. It is a factory build and recall report: what the vehicle was when it left the factory, what it listed for, and whether open safety recalls exist. For accident or title history, pair it with a traditional history report or a state title check.
Do I get a PDF?
Yes. Every report includes a downloadable PDF plus a permanent link you can revisit or share.
